My name is Dave. I've been a vegetarian here in Omaha since around 1997, and a vegan since probably 2002 (although technically I didn't give up honey until about three years ago). I've had several years to figure out all the good places to eat, and the horrible places I won't step foot in again. The reason for this blog is so I can make everyone elses' journeys of self discovery in this not-so-vegetarian-friendly town a little less painful.
